Orthodontist by day, author and stand-up comedian by night, Dr. Blaine Langberg joins Dino in this episode of the Propreneur Podcast to talk about Blaine’s book entitled The Journey of a Jubu. Following the maxim, “write what you know,” Blaine has taken parts of his life and exaggerated them into Journey of a JuBu: a story of the struggle to achieve spirituality and mindfulness in today’s pop-culture-obsessed society.

Dr. Blaine Langberg trained at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, where he received his Doctor of Medical Dentistry. Dr. Langberg was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society and graduated cum laude. He remained at Harvard to complete his Master of Medical Science and specialty training in Orthodontics. During his seven years of training at Harvard, Dr. Langberg conducted clinical research in orthodontics and published four papers in orthodontic journals.
His undergraduate degree was obtained at Union College in Schenectady, New York where he graduated magna cum laude and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. Dr. Langberg values continuing education, is a Board Certified Orthodontist and keeps up-to-date on the latest technological advances in orthodontics.
Dr. Langberg is a member of the faculty at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He travels to Boston regularly to teach the residents there about practice management and treatment of patients. Dr. Langberg is also a member of the Attending Faculty at Yale-New Haven Hospital, where he helps the pediatric dental residents treat early intervention cases at the clinic. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Harvard Society for the Advancement of Orthodontics, and the Greater Danbury Dental Society.
Raised in Yorktown Heights, New York, Dr. Langberg currently lives in Ridgefield with his wife, Rachel and their three daughters. Dr. Langberg and his wife moved to Ridgefield so he could open his practice in a community that is close to their families. In addition to spending time with his family, Dr. Langberg enjoys writing novels and movie screenplays, also running, and rooting for the Yankees and N.Y. Giants!
